Seoul to cut carbon footprints from its skyscrapers

Seoul Metropolitan Government and Korea Energy Agency signed an MOU to reduce GHG emissions and improve energy efficiency in the buildings sector. The agency will help Seoul building net-zero public buildings, managing energy-intense facilities such as universities and hospitals, and renovating old apartments through the agency’s EERS (Energy Efficiency Resource Standards) scheme. The agency will also participate in Seoul’s PV demonstration project.
