Boryeong raises carbon point double

Boryeong City signed an agreement with Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO) to cooperate in Carbon Point System. The agreement was arranged to raise the benefit for Boryeong citizens, encouraging GHG reduction in the residential sector. As agreed, KOMIPO will provide KRW 100 million worth of Carbon Point, almost doubling points for regional subscribers in Boryeong.

Carbon Point System is Korea’s nationwide incentive scheme, in which subscribers who reduce GHG emission and energy consumption can earn cash.
