KFS enforces new safety rules to renewable energy facilities on mountains

Korea Forest Service (KFS) is implementing the new enforcement decree which demands expert site inspection for renewable energy facilities installed on mountains. The new rule expands the scope of expert safety inspection from wind facilities to other renewable sources including PV.

Now developers need to include a safety inspection plan for three years after the initiation of the operation in the project proposal.
