SDN to build a hybrid ‘energy complex’

A Korean PV specialist SDN will build a large PV module manufacturing facility in Gangjin, South Jeolla Province. According to the company, the development of the new facility of 150MW/yr capacity is a part of the large plan to build an ‘integrated energy complex’ in the Gangjin Industrial Complex. The energy complex will have a 15MW solar power generating facility, a 20MW SOFC array that will be expanded to 40MW, as well as production facilities for ESS, fuel cell, aluminum boats, and electric components.

SDN also recently has issued convertible bonds to source KRW 10 billion for the project.
